The Hawaii Pacific Basin AHEC invites you to join in the Consortium for Increasing Research and Collaborative Learning Experiences (CIRCLE) program, which offers distance research projects for students to participate in real research using remote platforms. The Circle Grant program provides students with the opportunity to explore a scientific topic of interest to get a taste of various components of science research including data collection and analysis, reading and understanding scientific literature, collaborating with distance PIs and local mentors, and presenting your research findings. This is a great opportunity to build your resume and potentially present at a scientific symposium!
Our mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of researchers by providing high school students with the opportunity to engage in meaningful research projects. We believe that by fostering a love of research in students at an early age, we can help them develop the critical thinking skills and creativity necessary to tackle some of the world's most pressing problems. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where students can explore their passions and develop their research skills under the guidance of experienced mentors. Our program aims to not only teach students about research but also to help them build self-confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning
