I am interested in being part of the BIPOC leadership development program for 2020-21.

I have read the overview and can commit to an average of seven hours per week in addition to regular Spring meetings and activities, from September 14, 2020 to April 26, 2021.

Over the 32 weeks of the program, you will be expected to participate in the following tasks. Please confirm your understanding of the program by clicking each of the boxes below. *

Publish in Spring magazine an interview with a prominent figure (by the end of the program)

Work with other leadership program participants to develop and present a total six talks for Spring

Jointly lead two of the six talks (all six talks would be conducted by groups of two participants)

Attend all six talks, including those I am not leading

Undertake the associated readings for each talk (two or three articles)

Attend weekly Spring meetings, whenever possible (as expected of all Spring members)

Attend Fight for $15 & Fairness monthly organizing meetings, whenever possible

Meet weekly (one week with a Coordintating Committee member, the next with other leadership program participants) to plan, organize, and promote the talks and to choose interviewees and prepare for the interview

Share your insights, experiences, and analysis with other members of Spring
