Thank you for your interest in our Home Dog Boarding!

Our Boarding Application operates on a waitlist basis. This means that when spots become available in our enrollment cycles, we will reach out if your dog meets all the requirements. The waiting period could be anywhere from one month to several months or even a year.

We are truly grateful for everyone who wishes to enroll their dogs with us. While we would love to accept every application, our responsibility as professionals is to ensure that we meet each dog's individual needs. One way we achieve this is by maintaining a low enrollment count in each cycle to focus on the safety and well-being of every dog in our care.

Applications are processed in the order they are received, so we recommend applying well in advance, especially before upcoming holiday plans.

Please ensure your dog meets all of the boarding requirements. Only those who meet all of the requirements will be contacted.

**DOG/HUMAN REACTIVITY & SEPERATION ANXIETY (etc): We are not accepting any new dogs who exhibits behavior of fearful, aggressions, reactivity or selectiveness towards dogs or people. As well as any dogs who exhibit signs of separation anxiety etc.

(This application is for home boarding services at PPC in Maple Ridge. We do not offer pet sitting in your own home)

Does your dog meet ALL of the Boarding Requirements?

In order for your dog to be eligible for boarding, they must meet all of these requirements. If they do not, you will not be contacted when enrollment reopens.

1. Vaccinated for Rabies, Bordetella and DHPP (Distemper/Parvo)

2. Flea Preventative medication used throughout the entire year, including the winter.

3. Spay/Neutered by 12 months of age

4. Dog/People friendly & social

5. You use Positive Reinforcement methods

At Pawsitivity Pet Care we strictly adhere to the philosophy of force-free, fear-free, Positive Reinforcement. So what does this mean? We focus on building relationships with your dogs based on choice and reinforcement to gain trust and a clear line of communication. This means that we do not condone or use any averse tools like e-collars, pinch collars, and choke collars, nor do we teach using averse methods like dominance, pack leader mentality and so on. Please ensure that you are accepting of this type training before finishing this application. Our priority as Pet Care Professionals is to have your pets safety both mental and physical as our number one priority and so this policy is non negotiable to use our services. *

I prefer to use balanced methods. (Please Note: If you prefer to use balanced training methods (/the use of aversive tools), rather than force free training that's totally okay! But, if this is the case, we will be unable to provide any services to you and your pet.
