The Summer Young Company is a group of 14 to 18-year-olds who will participate in Shakespeare by the Sea's activities throughout the summer! They will rehearse and perform selected Shakespeare scenes in several pop-up locations, including Point Pleasant Park and the Halifax Central Library, among others. The schedule is spread out throughout the summer, as the program is directed and lead by Associate Artistic Director Drew Douris-O'Hara.

Space is limited and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Because the performance will be comprised of a collection of scenes, and not every student will appear in every scene, we have the ability to be moderately flexible with schedule. Participation may not be possible if your availability is too limited, but we will get into contact if that's the case. Please indicate your availability for the following dates/activities (click the check box if you ARE available).
