Seminar 1 - CIRCUIT SIMULATIONS AND MEASUREMENT PLATFORMS

(3rd-4th November 2022)

Location: Brno University of Technology, Czech Republic (Technicka 12, 616 00 Brno, Czech Republic)

The two-day seminar will cover the modeling and simulation of RF circuits and devices with exercises. General introduction will focus on measurement platforms and on software defined radios from low-cost to high performance equipment. The participant will be acquainted with free toolboxes for circuit, device modeling and novel digital filter designs. The laboratory excursions complete the seminar.

Seminar 2 - EMC CHARACTERIZATION AND PREVENTION

(17th - 18th October 2022)

Location: TU Wien (Karlsplatz 13, 1040 Wien, Austria)

This two-day seminar will give an insight into typical EMC measurement setups, measurements, and EMI prevention. Professional equipment solutions and low-cost variants are presented. Hands-on tutorials shall make the user familiar with troubleshooting procedures. At the end of each day, round tables for discussions are held to deepen the lessons learned as well as to discuss common EMC proble
