Sterling Grade School Four Year Old At-Risk/Special Needs Preschool Application
Sterling Grade School is accepting preschool applications for the 2023-2024 school year.  To qualify for this program, students must be 4 years old by August 31st to meet the state guidelines for this program.  If you feel like your child may have any special learning needs please contact the Sterling Grade School office to schedule a screening.

The SGS Preschool is a developmental preschool. This means that we take children 3-4 years old that have developmental delays or disabilities. We also take children with speech/language delays but there are times that a child receives outpatient speech, it just depends on the severity of their delay.  We are also a 4-year old at-risk preschool. We serve children that their families answer yes to at least one of the 9 qualifying questions on this form.

Lastly, the number of students that qualify under special education and at-risk will determine how many 4-year old peer models we can accept into our preschool program. At this time, we don't have a set number of students because each year is different according to the needs of our students with special needs.

If you are interested in applying for the SGS Preschool program please complete this form by May 18, 2023.  Parents will be notified by June 2nd if their application is approved.
