Shreveport Symphony Orchestra is offering our 2021-2022 on the go programs virtually to schools. The programs listed below are live streamed directly into your school classrooms, eliminating any risk of spreading any viral diseases between musicians, students, and teachers. Though program selection is more limited this year, each school can choose two different programs to be presented on two different days. Please submit a different form for each program you would like.

Sym-Phonics: Violin - A musician and storyteller will team up for a musical story time featuring books, songs, dancing, and games! (PreK & Kindergarten)

Sym-Phonics: Double Bass - A musician and storyteller will team up for a musical story time featuring books, songs, dancing, and games! (PreK & Kindergarten)

Sym-Phonics: Percussion - A musician and storyteller will team up for a musical story time featuring books, songs, dancing, and games! (PreK & Kindergarten)

Musical Families: Strings - A string quartet plays different styles and meters to demonstrate the four primary instruments of the orchestral string family (1st-5th grades)

Musical Families: Woodwinds - A woodwind quintet from the woodwind section of our orchestra demonstrate how woodwind instruments produce their sound (1st-5th grades)

Musical Families: Brass - The symphony brass quintet will play tunes from different eras and show how the brass instruments are similar and different(1st-5th grades)

Middle/High School Music Mentors - A member or members of the symphony will provide a small-group or one-on-one coaching session for a section of your orchestra or band class.
