Data for Good at UGA brings together students and community leaders from around Athens-Clarke and Georgia to create real change. Each month, we host discussions, debates, and panels on various, data-related topics from facial recognition software to the spread of misinformation.
In addition to meetings, members can participate in any of our ongoing projects. We strive to use data and technology to make a real social impact by supporting local coalitions and movements and by using data to identify and study problems in our community.
