Para-Educator Excellence Award             Nominations Due September 25th
The Council for Exceptional Children (CEC), the premiere association for special
educators, works to improve the educational success of individuals with disabilities
and/or gifts and talents.
The Para-Educator Excellence Award recognizes a Para-Educator who currently provides direct services to students with exceptionalities. The Para-Educator Excellence Award is an individual whose work significant educational success for students, continued professional development, and the highest standards of educational quality.
Award Benefits
The CEC Para-Educator Excellence Award recipient will:
* Be recognized at an awards ceremony during the CEC annual Conference
* Receive $50.00 Gift Card
* Be profiled by the Idaho CEC in social media and on our website
* Receive a commemorative certificate
Nominee Eligibility Requirements
•  Must currently provide direct services to a student (or students) with exceptionalities
• The work of the nominee must be consistent with CEC’s mission statement as
   described in the first paragraph
Rules & Instructions for Nomination
Nominees may be nominated by an individual (principal, CEC member, fellow teacher/colleague, student, parent, self), educational organization (school, parent group, etc.), or community group. The nomination form should be completed by the nominee and must be signed by the nominee.
