UMD Discovery Days: Fun with Thermodynamics
This event is free to the public.

It's the last Discovery Days of the year! Come join the UMD Physics Outreach team as we make our own thermometers, create clouds in a bottle, use salt to pick up ice, and more! Our program will be Saturday, December 7th, 2024 from 10AM to 12PM in Lecture Hall 1410 of the John S. Toll Physics Building at the University of Maryland.

The University of Maryland Department of Physics’ Discovery Days is an outstanding long-running physics demonstration series geared towards elementary students and their families. With a focus on education and entertainment, all are welcome!
