BWTC 2021: I understand that I will have to pay $50 for a single wrestler or $75 for a family (siblings only) using VENMO (www.venmo.com/Bobcat-Wrestling) and payment confirmed before being able to participate in any practices. *

BWTC 2021 - ASSUMPTION OF RISK & CLINIC LIABILITY WAIVER
ASSUMPTION OF THE RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER. I acknowledge and understand the following:

1. I recognize there are dangers inherent in the sport of wrestling and its training elements, and agree to assume all risks related to my child’s participation in BWTC practices and competitions.

2. Participation in the BWTC practices and competitions includes an increased risk of possible exposure to and illness from infectious diseases including but not limited to COVID-19. While particular rules and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious illness and death does exist;

3. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19, even if arising from the negligence or fault of the Released Parties; and

4. I hereby knowingly assume the risk of injury, harm and loss associated with the Activity, including any injury, harm and loss caused by the negligence, fault or conduct of any kind on the part of the Released Parties;

5. I release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue the Bobcat Kids Wrestling Club, Basehor-Linwood School District, its athletic department and staff, or the BWTC from any and all claims, demands, or course of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, illness or injury, that may be sustained by my child, or to any property belonging to my child, while participating in this clinic, or while in, on or upon the premises where the clinic is being conducted.

6. I confirm that I do have my USA Wresting Card and that it will remain current throughout the duration of the BWTC freestyle/greco wrestling season (April - June).

7. I agree to only bring my wrestler to practices and competitions as long as my child/participant is qualified, in good health, and in proper physical condition to participate therein.

8. The undersigned have read this assumption of risk, release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement, and have had the opportunity to ask questions about the same. The undersigned fully understand this assumption of risk, release and waiver of liability and indemnity agreement, that the undersigned are giving up substantial rights in connection therewith, and that its terms are contractual, and not a mere recital. The undersigned acknowledge that they are signing this agreement freely and voluntarily.
