 Soy Bri Romanello, estudiante doctoral (PhD) de antropología en la Universidad Estatal de Arizona. Un poco sobre mí: he sido miembro de la Iglesia SUD toda mi vida y estoy profundamente involucrada y apasionada por el bienestar y la representación de las experiencias de las mujeres dentro de nuestra comunidad. También estoy muy interesada en la experiencia de los inmigrantes y las vidas de las mujeres latinas que viven y son madres en los EEUU. Por eso estoy realizando un estudio con madres latinas Mormonas/ SUD en Arizona. Quiero aprovechar mi oportunidad como estudiante de doctorado para demostrar mejor la inmensa diversidad y las contribuciones de las latinas y las madres en nuestra Iglesia y también en las comunidades locales.

 Durante esta entrevista, me interesaría conocer su historia, su membresía en la Iglesia de Jesucristo de los Santos de los Últimos Días y sus experiencias como madre. Esta entrevista es anónima y puede usar un nombre diferente si así lo desea. Todas las entrevistas serían por teléfono o Zoom para respetar las limitaciones de COVID.

Si acepta participar en este estudio, implicará una entrevista de no más de una hora y quince minutos, dependiendo de la cantidad de información que desee compartir conmigo. I am Bri Romanello, a Ph.D. Anthropology student at Arizona State University. A bit about myself: I have been a member of the LDS Church my entire life and am deeply involved and passionate about the well-being and representation of women's experiences within our community. I am also very interested in the immigrant experience and the lives of Latina women living and parenting in the United States. This is why I am conducting a study with Latina Mormon/ LDS mothers in Arizona  I want to use my opportunity as a Ph.D. student to better demonstrate the immense diversity and contributions of Latinas and mothers in our Church and also local communities.  

 During this interview, I will be interested in learning about your personal story, your membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and your experiences as a mother. This interview is anonymous and you can use a different name if you wish. All interviews would be by phone or Zoom to respect the limitations of COVID.

If you agree to participate in this study, it will involve an interview that should last no more than 75 minutes depending on the amount of information you choose to share with me.
