The Wofford National Pan-Hellenic Council governs the active historically African-American fraternities and sororities on campus. In order to connect students with NPHC organizations as they host interest meetings this fall, please complete the form below if you have any interest in learning more about any NPHC fraternities or sororities during your time here at Wofford College. This information will also be used in requests to inter/national headquarters to establish new chapters on our campus.

The National Pan-Hellenic Council, Incorporated (NPHC) is currently composed of nine International Greek letter Sororities and Fraternities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.  NPHC promotes interaction through forums, meetings and other mediums for the exchange of information and engages in cooperative programming and initiatives through various activities and functions.  These organizations recruit new members while students are pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees at colleges and universities. Once initiated, a person is a member for life. After graduation, members can choose to join a local graduate chapter and continue serving their local community. It should also be noted that while these organizations have strong historical ties in the African-American community, they are diverse organizations that welcome individuals from all ethnicities.

Active chapters on Wofford's campus have most recently included Omega Psi Phi and Kappa Alpha Psi. Wofford College is actively seeking to increase the availability and sustainability of NPHC organizations on campus.
