We are a subteam of UA Sustain, one of the largest clubs on campus, committed to increasingly sustainability around campus and promoting the reuse of clothing to reduce the detrimental environmental effects of fast fashion. We spent this year gauging the interest for an on campus thrift store, and were encouraged by all the positive feedback from our pop ups. As we ramp up next year we will need your help! Publicity: Get the word out about our upcoming pop up thrift stores!

Logistics: Coordinate with the MIT Facilities team, thrift store volunteers and the House managers of each dorm to make the thrift store happen

Acquiring a permanent space: Present plans for the permanent thrift store to Department of Student Life and other administration

Data: Visualize survey responses from our thrift store pop ups to inform the plans for our permanent store

I don't want to be a full committee member but would love to volunteer to help run the pop up thrift stores
