Foothill Global Experiential Learning Faculty Interest Form
*Submit at any time*

The Foothill Office of Global Experiential Learning is interested in partnering with all Foothill faculty, staff and administrators in planning opportunities for future study abroad (a.k.a. campus abroad) and experiential learning opportunities for our students. We hope to offer at least one faculty-led, quarter-long study abroad a year similar in structure to our Spring 2023 Florence program, our Fall 2023 London program or our Spring 2025 Kyoto Program, in addition to shorter-term, faculty-led programs in Summer and even perhaps throughout the year, similar to our Spring 2024 Environmental Justice in Cuba program, or one of our Summer Anthropology field schools. Partnering with Foothill Community Education for not-for-credit programs may also be an option!

We are seeking the input of our campus community to help select destinations, program themes and length. If you are potentially interested in applying to be one of the faculty leads on a study abroad program and/or if you have a program that you would like to see offered in the future (can be a new program or an ongoing one), please fill out this form to share your interest and/or program idea with us.

If you have questions about this survey or anything else GEL-related, please contact the Foothill Global Experiential Learning Faculty Coordinator, Kathryn Maurer, at globalexperiences@fhda.edu, or visit https://foothill.edu/global/
