The Foothill Office of Global Experiential Learning is interested in partnering with all Foothill faculty, staff and administrators in planning opportunities for future study abroad (a.k.a. campus abroad) and experiential learning opportunities for our students for the 2024 calendar year and beyond. We hope to offer at least one faculty-led, quarter-long study abroad program through
AIFS Abroad (or a comparable partner) during the year similar in structure to our
Spring 2023 Florence program and our
Fall 2023 London program, in addition to shorter-term, faculty-led programs in Summer and even perhaps throughout the year. Partnering with Foothill Community Education for not-for-credit programs is also an option!
We are seeking the input of our campus community to help select destinations, program themes and length. If you are potentially interested in applying to be one of the faculty leads on an AIFS program and/or if you have a program that you would like to see offered in the future (can be a new program or an ongoing one), please fill out this form to share your interest and/or program idea with us.
If you have questions about this survey or anything else GEL-related, please contact the Foothill Global Experiential Learning Faculty Coordinator, Kathryn Maurer, at globalexperiences@fhda.edu, or visit
