South Park HIGH SCHOOL School Year '19/'20 Course Registration
9th-12th grade students- PLEASE READ THROUGH THE DIRECTIONS COMPLETELY!! Use the schedule below or the attachment in the email to plan your course selection. Be sure you have thought through the following:

1. Be sure your schedule includes the appropriate core classes, English, math, social studies and science

2. be sure you have selected BOTH your appropriate grade level Capstone class AND another elective class. Capstone is only a semester so you will also choose another semester class. 12th graders will choose Capstone AND Personal Finance for 3rd period unless students are enrolling in Band. 9th graders MUST choose Health AND 9th Capstone.

3. If you know you need extra support in English and/or Math you can enroll in the Math Lab or ELA Lab. Students will be selected for these support classes based on MAP data and state assessments....therefore, YOUR SCHEDULE MAY CHANGE!!

4. There are places for COMMENTS under each class period selection. Please use this section to describe any challenge you may have. "I don't want to take anything that is offered" is not a challenge. You must pick a class for each period.
5. If you select DL for a class period please indicate what class you are planning on taking. You can indicate "elective" if you aren't sure but please indicate what you might be interested in. For example, "Elective in business," or "Elective in criminal justice)

5. Classes such as Elementary Mentor, Maintenance Assistant, Study Hall,  Parent Release (12th graders and special circumstances only), and Work Study (12th graders only) require additional paperwork and approval.
