~Preparatory Musical Theatre Production~

Students ages 8-11 will gain skills in auditioning, learning choreography, vocal production, learning lines and character work.  These students will make up the chorus in this year’s production of The Little Mermaid Jr.

**Students are required to audition for this course** (please note if your teen does not want a main role, they can be a part of the chorus without auditioning)
Auditions take place: August 26th, 2020 from 4pm-7pm
Students accepted into this program will be the main cast for The Little Mermaid Jr, and heighten their singing, dancing and acting skills while experiencing what it is like to be a part of a full-scale musical production.  Lead characters will be given solo practices for both vocals and character development prior to the beginning of the course (June).


Classes for both levels take place Sundays from 10am-3pm at The Charles Bailey Theatre (unless otherwise stated) from September 13th-December 6th with 3 Saturday rehearsals November 21, 28 and December 5th (No class Sunday October 11th because of Thanksgiving). Our tech and dress rehearsal will be on Friday December 11th from 3:30-8:30pm.
