2021 International Slow Art Day at Artisan Gallery
Join us for International Slow Art Day. We will look at pieces hung for the 2nd Annual Spring Flower Show. Participants will select their choice of 5 pieces to look at for between 5 and 10 minutes each. Afterward, everyone will use provided pen, paper, and colored pencil to write prose, poetry, or haiku in response to the works they saw. Participants will have the option to share their work after the session, have it shared online, or as part of the PoeTREE in Artisan Gallery.

Space is limited to 6 people per session, registration is strongly encouraged. Seating will be provided with consideration to safe social distancing.

Slow Art Day is a global event with a simple mission: help more people discover for themselves the joy of looking at and loving art.

Why slow? When people look slowly at a piece of art they make discoveries. The most important discovery they make is that they can see and experience art without an expert (or expertise). And that’s an exciting discovery. It unlocks passion and creativity and helps to create more art lovers. Learn more at www.slowartday.com
