Spring is almost here! I can’t wait for track season!
PC Express practice will begin on April 7th at the Columbus Grove track. First and Second graders will have track practice from 6pm to 6:45pm. Third grade through Sixth grade will have practice 6:30 through 7:45pm. Attendance will not be taken at practices. I know that kids are involved in other activities. The main purpose of this club is to teach kids about track, how a track meet is run, and to share the love of track and field.
Your child(ren) will be able to decide what events they would like to participate in at the meets. Feel free to move them around and have them try different events to see what they enjoy and might excel at. Participants can compete is three events (running and/or field events) at a meet. The relay will be an addition to those events. Relay runners will have to qualify for the relay in a run off that will be held at a practice. I will announce this run off prior to the practice. Our schedule (below) has a total of 4 meets and one end of season invitational. For away meets, Only Grades 3 through 6 will attend. All Grades will participate in the home meets held at Columbus Grove.

Please make sure to sign up for Remind Class: PC Express 2024, class code is @pcexpresst. Also make sure to follow the Facebook page: PC Express Track Club. Messages regarding practices and meets will posted in both locations.
This year’s fee is $35 per participant. Checks can be made to PC Express and mailed to 302 West Street, Columbus Grove, Ohio, 45830 or Cash/Check to Kathy McClure. Please add your child(ren)’s name(s) in the memo. Payment deadline is April 10th, the second day of practice. This fee covers $5 per meet per participant and the t-shirt.
We will also be having photos taken. I will try to get them early in the season so sports buttons can be worn to the meets!
PC Express is hosting three meets this year. We cannot run the meets without the awesome parents who volunteer. No track experience is necessary! Please commander volunteering if you are able.
