This summer workshop will provide space for children ages 11-14 to explore various modes of expression through the arts including movement, visual arts, drama, and writing. Participants will have the opportunity to focus on expressive modalities that they may already feel comfortable with while also trying on something new! We will spend time in nature and use their observations of the natural world to influence their art making, play, and conversations. Creating a secure space for individuals to explore their own emotional expression within a supportive group of peers will be prioritized.

9-2pm each day

About Anna

At this time, our policy requires all individuals who attend Sweet Tree Arts summer programs, ages five years and up, to be vaccinated or to provide a negative PCR Covid test result within 72 hours of attending the first day of a program. Our Covid policies are reviewed frequently and may be adjusted prior to the start of the summer. It is essential for the camp to have your child’s current health information in order to be able to ensure the safety and well-being of campers during their time at camp. *

A copy of my child's negative PCR test (not rapid antigen) will be sent to lspinchbeck@sweettreearts.org 72hrs before camp begins.

Many classes will take place outside, at Sweet Tree. If needed we will be in well ventilated indoor spaces. Access to indoors will be available only for bathrooms. Touch surfaces in bathrooms will be sanitized frequently. Hands free hand washing stations and water bottle fill ups will be available in each outdoor location for every group. Daily cleaning of surfaces will be practiced in the afternoons. The Sweet Tree Arts board will be reviewing our current indoor masking policy in early June. *

If we cannot continue a workshop for any reason the cost will be prorated appropriately. We ask if you sign on to our program you help us keep our community safe by following the guidelines we have put into place and encourage your child to do the same. As we all know information changes daily and we reserve the right to cancel our program if necessary. Please know if there is a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the program we would notify the enrolled community immediately. We also recommend if your child or family has a particular medical condition that may put him or her in a high risk category to please consider carefully if this is the correct choice at this time. *
