SCGC 7th Annual Education Conference: Speaker Submissions
SCGC invites proposals for our 7th Annual Education Conference to be held in the City of Industry on Friday May 3, 2023 at the Pacific Palms Resort (www.PacificPalmsResort.com). We are looking for engaging, innovative, and informative presentations for the Southern California genetic counseling community.

Please use the form below to submit your proposal. If you wish to submit more than one proposal, you must complete one form per individual submission.

The submissions window will close February 2, 2024 at 11:59pm PST.
Speakers will be notified of the planning committee’s decisions by February 16, 2023.

Relevance: Please briefly describe why this session is important for genetic counselors, particularly in the Southern California region.
Learning Objectives: Learning objectives should describe to learners exactly what knowledge, skills and/or attitudes they are expected to accomplish/demonstrate as a result of the learning program. Do not simply restate the goals of your session. Note that you must include at least one objective per speaker per 30 minutes (or one objective per 30 minutes for panels, regardless of number of speakers).  Committee may contact speaker to reformat objectives as needed. *
