A Furever Chance, INC is a small, non-profit 501(c)3 organization cat rescue focusing on TNVR efforts on the east side of Buffalo, NY.

Thank you for considering adopting one of our kitties. This application is designed to assist us in placing a pet that is suitable for you, your family, and your lifestyle and is in the best interest of the cat. Please understand that the cats in our care may have been abused, abandoned, or neglected and may need extra patience, understanding, time and training to adjust to new homes. We hope you understand that the animal’s welfare is our top priority. 

Please be patient, we are volunteers who still work full time jobs so it may take a few days to respond to applications. We do perform veterinary checks on current animals and check landlord permissions. We do not do “on the spot” adoptions. We are foster-based, meaning all cats are located in a foster home and we do not have a physical shelter location.

When you adopt a cat, you will be responsible for this cat's health and wellness and therefore have to keep up on it's vet visits. Do you understand that annual vet visits could cost up to $500 or more? Do you understand that emergency vet bills at the ER can cost up to several thousand dollars?

When you adopt a cat you will be responsible for keeping it fed and cared for. Do you understand that if you adopt this cat, you will be responsible for buying this cat things such as toys, scratching posts, treats, food, and litter? *
Some cats may require a home check and to be delivered to the new home. Do you agree to a volunteer from A Furever Chance INC to deliver the cat to your home should your application be approved?  *
You will be given a "trial" period of 3 weeks to see if the cat is a good fit for your home. If for any reason the cat does not work out in those 3 weeks and you return the cat to us, your adoption fee will be refunded in full to you.
If you decide to return the cat AFTER 3 weeks, your adoption fee will not be refunded to you.
