Confirmation of your Booking

Once your booking has been received in our Parish Office a member of our Baptism preparation team, the Parish Secretary or the Parish Priest will be in touch to confirm your booking and to arrange preparation prior to the baptism. This is an exciting time for your family and for us the Church family your child will become a member of. We want to make this day as enjoyable and as meaningful as we possibly can. Our Baptism preparation is a lovely way to meet some members of the parish family and to discuss any concerns or questions you may have. We are a friendly and welcoming parish community willing to welcome and assist you in this journey with your precious child and family. As you prepare for your baby's Baptism you might like to consider arranging a personalised candle to commemorate the day. These can be purchased online from a number of reputable companies. Make sure you search Australian companies or make your own.

Your baby should wear something white: a shirt or bib is enough. Many families have their own baptismal gowns or outfits worn by many generations of family members. Tradition is important in many families and it is important to us as well.

Baptism Preparation

Baptism preparation occurs the first Monday of each month in the Warners Bay Church meeting room. Sessions begin at 7.00pm and usually run for about 40 minutes. Only one parent needs to be present but both parents and baby are very welcome to attend. Godparents if they are free and live close by are also welcome to attend. 

Many families have been part of a preparation evening before but each child is unique and each part of the journey you make as a family is different.
