In my day to day, I'm a qualitative researcher who specifically studies user experience (albeit related to privacy and security issues). As r/crochethelp is a newer sub which has grown a lot, I thought it would be useful to do a check-in to ascertain both how and why users use this sub and areas we could improve in to better understand the needs of the users and improve the experience of using this sub.

This survey consists of 4 parts:

1) What you like/dislike about the sub and whether you have encountered any difficulties

2) What motivates you to ask questions on the sub

3) What motivates you to engage with posts on the sub

4) What changes you would like and any thoughts or opinions you would like to share.

This survey is 100% anonymous unless you choose to disclose your reddit username. Though we require users to be logged into their google account to make sure people only fill out the survey once, your email will not be collected and I am unable to see your email. At the end of the survey you can choose to leave your username if you are open to being contacted to chat about some of your answers.
