Summer Academy 2023 Student Commitment
We are planning for summer school, which will include our 21st CCLC Connect and LEAP summer programs as well as other schools!  Please commit by Friday, May 12th, 2023.   After May 12th, we will open enrollment to other students as space is available.   We will let you know about your students' participation by early May.

Elementary Summer Academy Information
JSD will offer summer academic and enrichment programming for all JSD students, K-12. Students will be selected based on space availabilty and most have been referred by grade level teachers to attend this opportunity. Students referred by a classroom teacher will have first preference.

 **It is a family's responsibility to fill out the form and submit for consideration. An incomplete form can result in your child not being able to attend Summer Academy.** If you are having trouble filling out the form, please reach out to your child's teacher or you can contact Amy Hamrick at amy.hamrick@juneauschools.org. as soon as possible**  

Transportation is available as needed to a student's neighborhood school. There is no charge for this program, but we do ask families to complete a survey at the end of the program.  Please fill out the form as completely as possible.

This commitment is for students currently in K-4th grade at Auke Bay, Harborview, Glacier Valley, Sayeik:Gastineau,  Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen, and Mendenhall River as well as TCLL, JCCS, and Montesori Borealis 

The summer schedule is as follows:  
*June 5-30, 2023 
*8:00am - 11:30am
(no breakfast or lunch will be offered this year; please provide a healthy snack for your student as well as sending him/her with a water bottle)  
*Monday-Friday (no student/staff attendance on June 19th, 2023)
*Sites: 
Auke Bay Elementary School: Auke Bay, Glacier Valley,  Kax̱dig̱oowu Héen, and Mendenhall River students
Sayeik: Gastineau:  Harborview and Sayeik: Gastineau students
