OMS 7th Grade Course Enrollment Form 2023-24

WELCOME!

OMS has an 8-period school day.  Required classes fill 6 1/2 of the 8 periods.
Required classes: Geography, Science, Math, English 7 or Enriched English 7 (2 periods), Art (2 quarters every other day), Health (2 quarters every other day), PE (full year - every other day), World Language (full year - every other day).

Classes of choice (Band, Orchestra, Choir, STEAM) fill 1-1/2 periods.  Students may select up to three (3) "choice" classes.  Remaining period(s) will be filled with a study hall.

Notes:
  • We are unable to honor team/teacher placement requests and students placed with friends.
  • If a student is enrolled in two every-other-day music/elective classes and chooses to drop an elective, the remaining music class will switch to everyday – not a study hall.
  • Once students are scheduled, classes of choice can only be dropped the first week of school or at the end of each quarter, with approval from parents/guardians and administration.
If you have any scheduling questions, please contact Jan Neumann at 835-4810 or jmneumann@oregonsd.net.
