The Hawthorn Rowing Club Junior Learn to Row program offers the opportunity to students with no rowing experience to learn how to row over four two-hour sessions. Once the student completes this program, they are offered the opportunity to join the club and the junior development program as a junior member which runs all throughout the year.
Session Times:
4:15pm to 6:15pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays (different days and times on holidays if there is interest)
Dates will be sent once there is sufficient numbers
Location: Hawthorn Rowing Club (entrance through Denham Road and Creswick Street intersection)
Eligibility:
• Open to any student aged 13 and over
• No rowing experience required
• Not required to be a member of the club
Fees:
• $220 per student (Includes equipment fee and the Rowing Victoria Affiliation fee)
• Invoices will be sent after confirmation is received
• Please note: fees must be paid before the program commences
How to Enrol:

What to wear and bring?
• Wear comfortable tight fitting clothes
• Students will need to bring:
• Runners
• Thongs
• An extra pair of socks
• A hat
• A drink bottle
• Sunglasses (optional)
Weather:
• Assume all sessions will proceed as scheduled unless I communicate otherwise
•I f the river conditions are dangerous, students will complete a land based session atHawthorn Rowing Club during the scheduled session time.
• Missed water sessions will not be rescheduled if a land session is run instead
