HOMESCHOOL INSTRUCTION FORM
Southampton Academy recognizes that a variety of different educational platforms and programs exist to meet student needs. Homeschool instruction is one avenue with opportunity to permit a unique and individualized experience and advance the student in key curricular areas. It also affords the family the opportunity to create a personalized schedule for academic, social, and emotional growth. Examples of homeschool instruction include online programs.

In evaluation of candidates for admission, completion of this form provides detail around the homeschool experience and gives educators a strong sense of the framework and journey of the specific child's experience.

Math Curriculum *

Language Arts and/or Literature Curriculum *
Please briefly describe the candidate's language arts and/or literature curriculum and overall performance, citing a grade, if applicable.  EX/ Will worked in the Junior Great Books program for grade 4. We also used the IEW writing program, level A, and Wordly Wise 3000 (book 4) for spelling and vocabulary. He also recently free-read Because of Winn-Dixie (DiCamillo) and Where the Red Fern Grows (Rawls). We did not keep any grades for this curriculum; however, I can share his most recent spelling list and a writing sample.
