Medieval Lunch resumes 23 January, 12:00-13:00. We will then meet most Tuesdays during term-time for the remainder of the semester. Sessions will typically be held in HQ 276, but exceptions will be announced in the week preceding.
Presentations begin at 12:30, after a half-hour of lunch and conversation, and last approximately 20 minutes, leaving 10 minutes for questions and comments. While presentations often take the form of a conference-style papers, there is no standard or required format: some presentations approach the formality of a lecture, while others assemble preliminary thoughts. We welcome works-in-progress, prospectuses for upcoming projects or publications, distillations (or experimental versions!) of dissertation chapters, and everything in between. This is your platform to explore and receive feedback from colleagues. Above all, we strive to make Medieval Lunch a stimulating and welcoming space, and students should feel undaunted to
present their work!
