SWITCH Workshop Facilitator Registration Form
Brought to you by ITAC, Performing Arts Studio Scotland (at Edinburgh College), and ITAC Ghana Collective, SWITCH is a one day online sharing symposium that brings together the next generation of Teaching Artists from Scotland and Ghana.

Switch provides students the opportunity to:
1. Co-create and co-deliver-run  45 - 60 minute workshops to develop online facilitation skills.
2. Participate in up to 4 workshops that explore and celebrate cultural diversity.
3. Hear from internationally celebrated teaching artists talking about their arts practice.
4. Participate in a q & a with ITAC's Managing Director.

When: Thursday 3rd November 9am-4pm

SWITCH is an open, experimental event, in which we invite emerging or training Teaching Artists in Ghana and Scotland to gather, learn and exchange. You don't need to be a polished professional to present, this will be a space to show your passion, and learn from each other in a non-judgemental environment. Our goal is to invite this next generation of Teaching Artists to showcase and develop their practice together.

Are you someone who uses art to engage communities? Do you have a workshop you would like to experiment with and deliver online for colleagues across Scotland and Ghana? If so, sign up to host something! We want to hear from you! To help get you started, we have listed some important questions below for you to think about while you plan your session.

If you would like to create and deliver one of the workshops (either alone or with a partner), please complete the form below before Thursday 13th October 2022.
If you don't want to present a session, and only want to register to attend this free online event, please complete the other 'Registration form'.

Full Name *
Which country are you joining from? *
What is the title or theme of your session? (It's always helpful to think of a title which can be exciting or relevant to other teaching artists. For example a title/ theme could be something like 'using music to resolve conflict'). *
If you have co hosts, who are they? What will they bring to the discussion?
Please give a brief description of the workshop you would like to run. What kinds of topics will you explore? What art form will you use? How will you engage people? *
Why do you want to run this session? (For example, do you hope to learn something, practice online delivery, meet new people?) *
What do you hope other people will get out of attending your workshop? What do you hope they will learn? *
Please give a brief outline of your session below (this can be a rough draft, just to help us understand your vision, it does not need to be your final workshop plan). For example you might say '10 minutes for welcomes and introductions, 10 minutes of presentations, 10 minutes for group activity, 10 minutes for discussion'. *
Is there any other information you would like to give us?
I understand the session will be recorded and made available online. I understand that by joining the session live any contributions I make either audibly or visually, including my visual presence via webcam, will be recorded and made available online to watch back later. Please note, this consent is required to allow you to participate in real-time. If you do not wish to give your consent, you should instead watch the session as a recording at a later date. *
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
