Please sign up if you plan to join us to hear from disabled activist, social scientist, and author Dr. Arielle Silverman about her book: Just Human: The Quest for Disability Wisdom, Respect, and Inclusion. Dr. Silverman, is passionate about improving public understandings of life with disabilities. She currently works at the National Federation of the Blind.
Dr. Silverman will share excerpts of her book, with most of our session dedicated to an open Q&A session.
We encourage you all to attend and read the book prior to the meeting! The book (costs $15) or kindle version ($5) can be purchased on Amazon. A Braille version can be provided upon request. Please email LS parent Amrita Sareen-Tak directly (
