On Nov 16th from 5-7pm OCEAN School will host its first ever Multicultural Nite! This will be a fun, celebratory event with food, live music, student work exhibition, activities, and connections. Please sign up for a shift to help make this a community-driven event. Any questions, please contact

To help you decide what role is best, please see below for a little bit more information. Please stay flexible as the details of this event are still taking shape, and also we trust that you will do what is within your capacity. Any help at any level is greatly appreciated!
- Set up (3:30-4:30pm): decorate and help teachers set up student work
- On-site event support (5-6:45pm): greet people, support teachers, help with food
- Clean-up (6:50-7:15pm): just what it sounds like - the awesome Blue Heron custodian will take point with parents pitching in.

*There are a limited number of gift cards available for any family who it would be helpful to offset costs for food supplies or project materials. Pick one up at the OCEAN office. There are also new trifold boards available to students in Daniel's classroom.
