It is International Education week at your college and...

...you have been given the task of decorating the cafeteria for the events that will take place throughout the week. Searching high and low in various storage rooms on campus for past decorations, a light catches your eyes as you turn down the last remaining hallway to the place you haven’t checked yet - The basement. The basement has been used as storage previously and you want to check it out to see if any IEW materials were placed down there as a final effort to find those lost decorations. 

The door leading to the basement is heavy and looks like it will creak if opened. It sits at the bottom of a stairwell. Nonetheless, you grab onto the door knob and twist. 

It’s dark here with only one single flickering light. You can only make out a slight glow in the distance. Squinting your eyes to try to get a better look at the green light, you don’t realize your hand has lost grip of the heavy basement door and it swings shut with a thud. Turning quickly to open it and get out of here, you realize the door has locked itself and you are stuck inside the dark storage room. 

Knowing you have to find a way out of here, you walk towards the mysterious glowing light in the middle of the room when the overhead flickering light finally goes out.
