Friends, in this moment of global crisis and fear, when it may feel like the end of the world, I thought it would be good to come together and learn together from an anti-poverty reading of the Bible, Liberation theologies, and from what one another are doing on the ground to take care of ourselves and our communities.

We will base this conversation on a liberatory anti-poverty reading of the Book of Revelation, as well as my new book, "Resisting Empire: The Book of Revelation as Resistance" from Barclay Press: http://www.barclaypressbookstore.com/Resisting-Empire.html

Think Revelation has prediceted the end times and we are living in it right now.
