Auditions are going to be held August 28th & 29th, with 10 minute slots throughout the evening. Don't forget to sign up on the Google Sheet for a time that works best for you.

As someone who will be a representative of Christ and of NWC within this community, we have certain expectations of our team members. These expectations are listed below:

First, we want to grow together spiritually this year, and create a safe space to help one another become the people God want us to be. You are expected to live above reproach. As someone who is in front of the community, you are expected to be actively striving to become more like Christ. We are going to encourage, challenge and hold one another accountable within our spiritual and personal lives.

Next, we expect you to respond to and utilize planning center. This valuable resource is here for your benefit and ours. We hope to communicate efficiently through this tool, and to do so, we need your participation.

We are also looking for musicians with a teachable attitude. We are not only looking to grow spiritually, but also as musicians while we come together and learn from one another. As worship leaders, we want to be continually improving our gifts for God’s benefit, and we invite you to do the same.

Last, we ask that you respect one another’s time. We want rehearsals to be a productive place of worship. We expect each team member to come prepared, knowing the music for the week, and knowing their part within it. We see this rehearsal time as a run-through, not an initial learning time. We hope to keep these rehearsals timely, and efficient.

This includes the expectation that each team member will be on time/ present at each rehearsal. If for any reason you will not be able to attend a rehearsal, we ask that you give your leader one week’s notice. If you miss/ are late to two rehearsals, your leader will have a conversation with you.

In previous years, we have had multiple teams that each lead a specific service. This year, we have two teams that will be switching off Tuesday chapels and Sunday night Praise & Worship with an occasional travel worship event.
