RE: INVITATION OF YOUR FACULTY MEMBERS FOR ONLINE PEDAGOGICAL TRAINING
We are pleased to invite your faculty to attend a pedagogical training (PedaL) that will be held from 25th October to 17th November 2021. The training is led by Tangaza University College
https://tangaza.ac.ke/ and commissioned by Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR)
https://youtu.be/1qUFqThh4fo. Participants will learn about constructive alignment and methodologies of online teaching.
The training will be offered online synchronously and asynchronously. This is the second time Tangaza University College is offering the training. The first Tangaza-led PedaL was held in May 2021 and 60 lecturers from 13 universities completed the training. Since the launch of pedagogical training in 2018, close to 2,400 teaching staff from across the continent have been trained.
The training will be blended with asynchronous sessions offered on Moodle Learning Management System and six, 3-hour online synchronous live sessions. The synchronous sessions dates are as presented below:

Innovative Assessment

Teaching using Case Methodology and closing ceremony
After completing the PedaL training, participants will be awarded a certificate of completion.
