The Albany Academies Social Event Rules:
  • Respectful behavior of all attendees, chaperones, and staff members is expected. Students who do not meet these expectations may be asked to leave at the discretion of the school deans.
  • At school-sponsored events, anyone who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted to attend the event, will be curtailed from operating a vehicle and will be detained until parents are contacted. Students will be required to complete a breathalyzer screening upon entry.
  • Smoking, use of illegal substances, or misuse of controlled and/or over-the-counter substances are prohibited on school grounds and at the Albany Academies events off campus.
  • A no re-entry policy is in effect.
  • No students will be admitted to an event after one hour from the start time of the event.
  • Pick up from the event needs to be prompt at the event's conclusion.
