Between April 24 and April 27, 2020, Philadelphia and its adjacent counties will be competing against other cities in the world to see who can find the most species in their regions through the City Nature Challenge.

To prepare for this challenge, Penn Sustainability is hosting a bioblitz demo at the James G. Kaskey Memorial Park (the Biopond). A bioblitz is an intense period of biological surveying within a designated area. You will learn how to use the iNaturalist app to document wildlife.

This bioblitz demo event will take place on Wednesday, April 15, 2020 from 12-1pm. Please meet at 12pm at James G. Kaskey Memorial Park (the Biopond) behind Goddard Labs.

Also, please bring your phone and have the iNaturalist app downloaded before the event.
