Galveston County CERT will offer the American Heart Association Heart Saver CPR/AED/First Aid course at the Pioneer House next to the entrance to Carbide Park on May 20th through the 21st. This is a 2-night course, and you must attend both nights to achieve your certification. Class begins at 6pm and ends at 10 pm each night.
Carbide Park is located at 4102 Main Street (FM 519) in La Marque. This training is free, and open to the public. Each successful candidate will receive a certificate of completion card via email from the American Heart Association. This training is available to everyone 13 years of age and older, all minors without a driver's license will require a responsible adult to attend with them.
