Welcome to Fairfield West Elementary. The PTC supports our school and its teachers with both time and fundraising. There are many ways you can be involved:  coming to monthly meetings, volunteering your time or talents, or chairing an event or project throughout the year.   If you are interested, please complete this online form - no need to return the paper version to school.

Boosterthon Chairperson- We will need someone to shadow our boosterthon fundraiser (9/5-9/12) this year to take over for next year.  Boosterthon runs the program and does all the hard work. Our chairperson will be in charge of helping plan the event and meeting for next year.

Bakers - Willing to bake and send in baked goods for 1 or more different PTC sponsored events throughout the year (Conference Dinner, Santa Shop family night, Carnival, Staff Appreciation)  Sign up Genius will be posted.

Dine to Donate assistant- help with copying and distributing flyers,  and posting on social media for upcoming events.

Hearing and Vision Screening Helpers  – Needs 4 helpers per day– volunteers escort classes to vision and hearing screening locations in the building.

Family Movie/Game Night Chairperson-  Someone to head and lead ALL the Family Movie or Game Nights (10/27, 2/23 4/26).  Make, Copy, and distribute flyers, and communicate with staff for events.

Family Movie/Game Night Helpers (10/27, 2/23, 4/26)   – assist with 1 or more movie/game night in anyone needed.  Concessions, set up, tear down, etc.  Sign up Genius will be posted.

Wild West Dance (11/10) Chairperson – lead committee or assist in the planning and implementing of activities for Wild West Dance (i.e. music, kitchen, games, etc.).  This dance is for Pre-K through 2nd grade.

Book Fair Helper (Fall 9/25-9/29 & Spring 2/12 to 2/16) – assist students with book selections and the checkout process on 1 or more days.   Sign up Genius will be posted.

Santa Shop Helpers (12/11-12/15)- Help students with shopping and bagging gifts, organizing etc.  on 1 or more days.  Also, we will need helpers for Santa Shop Family Night (12/12). Sign up Genius will be posted.

Santa Shop Family Night Leader (12/12)- assist the Chairperson by being in charge of cookies/crafts in the multi-purpose room the night of the event.  Also, help with any vendors/crafters that have questions.

80’s Dance Helpers (1/19) Help our chairperson set up/tear down and with activities (concessions,  games, etc) for 80’s Dance.  This dance is for 3rd to 5th grade.

Spring Fundraiser Helper- help organize order sheets and distribute products to classrooms upon arrival.

Staff Appreciation Week (5/6  to 5/10) Helpers - assist in the planning and implementing of activities for the event. Also need volunteers for the Staff Luncheon (5/8).  Sign up Genius will be posted for luncheon.

Teacher PTC Rep- attend PTC Meetings to be able to relay teacher concerns/needs to PTC.  *If you are unable to attend a meeting due to prior commitments you can get notes from the meeting.  (9/5, 10/3, 11/6, 12/5, 1/9, 2/6, 3/5 , 4/9, 5/7  4:30-5:30)
