ILead is an annual one-day Youth Leadership Summit for high schoolers living in the Mid-Willamette Valley. This free event is coordinated by the City of Salem Youth Development Services, a Planning Committee of stakeholders, and a Teen Advisory Committee. The mission is to encourage, empower, and better equip teens to lead positive change in their lives, their schools, and their community

The ILead Impact Awards celebrate the great work being done in our community around youth leadership development, volunteerism, health & safety promotion, and overall wellbeing.

There are three awards presented at the summit:

the Youth Impact Award,
*new - the Student Government Impact Award, and
the Adult Impact Award.

With the survey below, each award is explained in more detail to help with your nomination. Please nominate an individual person or group who positively affects change in the community.

The survey remains open year-round for nominations.

The cut off date for nominations to be considered for the February 2023 summit is January 31st, 2023.

**Please note: Anyone in the Mid-Willamette Valley (Marion, Polk, and Linn Counties) can submit nominations. IMPACT Awards are sponsored by the City of Salem and Marion County Health and Human Services.

Youth Leadership Award: Teen leaders who have created, championed, organized, and/or led something that has positively impacted the community in big or little ways. This can be an individual, a group, a club, or even a program.

School ASB Programs that have created, championed, organized, and/or led a project that significantly and positively impacts/impacted the school or community.

Adult Leadership Award: Adult leaders who significantly invest in the next generation of leaders. Can be an individual or group.
