RULES: Please be mindful that dancers/drummers will be enrolling for an entire semester (2 sessions) course with a commitment to perform at the ART FESTIVAL in April and our End of Year Performance in May. If you decide to join Te Fano O Te Ra STG you will need to pay between the 15th and 25th of every month for the following month but if you choose not to continue, you will still be charged for the remaining weeks.

MOANA (OCEAN) Class - Designated for ages 3 - 4 years old.  This class is designated for our pre-school level class for children. Dancers learn the foundation of Polynesian dance through movement, dance vocabulary & song. Time: 45 mins/week

FETI'A (STAR) Class– This class is designed for children ages 5 - 9 emphasizing Tahitian, Hawaii, and Maori techniques. Students will learn traditional songs and drum beats while building self-confidence, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Time: 50 mins/week

MARAMA (MOON) Class - This class is designated for dancers ages 10 - 14 years old emphasizing Tahitian, Hawaiian, Samoan & Maori techniques. Students will learn traditional songs and drums beats while building self-confidence, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Time: 50 mins/week

TAMAROA (BOYS) Class - This class is designated for dancers ages 6 - 12 years old emphasizing Tahitian, Hawaiian, Samoan & Maori techniques. Students will learn traditional songs and drums beats while building self-confidence, coordination, flexibility, and strength. Required: Black Shorts

MAHANA (SUN) Class – This class is designed for dancers ages 15+ of all levels as well as those interested in a medium-paced exercise class. Dancers will focus on creative movement and technique, language, and songs. Perfect for dancers who want to stay in shape and sweat! Time: 90 mins/week

POERAVA (BLACK PEARL) – Auditions are required for Black Pearl. This class is designed for Intermediate or Advanced dancers only. BY INVITATION. Dancers are required to purchase costumes for this class.
MANDATORY PRACTICE ATTIRE: Ladies: black sports bra/top & black pareu/sarong is required for class participation. Men: Black shorts Time: 2 + hrs a week.

Drumming Class - D1 for New Drummers.  D2 for Returning Drummers. Class sizes are limited. No more than 6 drummers per class/per semester. Drummers will learn rhythm, timing, the names for each Tahitian beat. Drummers will rotate between the toere, tari parau, faatete and pahu rima. Must be committed to the entire semester.

All tuition will need to be paid between the 15th and the 25th of every month for the next month. (example: January fees are due by December 26).  If the payment due date lands on a holiday, the tuition is due by the following day. Tuition fees can be paid via Credit Card, Debit Card, Cash or online. No Checks. Any fees received after the 25th of the month; for the following month, will result in a $15 late fee per dancer. If you choose not to continue, you will still be charged for the remaining weeks. I will send out a Venmo request for payment.

FYI:
Additional classes - if you enroll in the Black Pearl class and want to take drumming or the Mahana class, it will be an additional $8 for each class rather than the full tuition.

Family Rate - if you have 5 or more members of your family enrolled in a semester, please contact me. Family rate is direct family members (Mom, daughter, son, etc)

Private lesson must be scheduled and paid for in advanced. No same day appointments.

End of Season Production - All dancers are required to participate in Te Fano's End of Season Ho'ike/Recital.  Each member is encouraged to sell 10 tickets or families of 3 or more members 25.  Will you be able to participate? *
Class Goals for the End of Season Production - Class attendance is important in order for Te Fano to have a successful show.  The teachers and students have 20 weeks to prepare for our show.  Please make sure you text, message or call if you cannot attend class.  I will not be able to respond to messages received during class hours.  *
