Nile River Festival Mountain Bike Race and Ride 2023 is an unique fundraising and offers a 30km race through the trails and villages on the Western banks of the mighty white River Nile. It's a mass start and first man and first woman across the finish line wins. For those who want to go slow as you learn more about the area we also offer a ride.
The event is more than racing and riding though; it’s a celebration of cycling, of having a good time on the bike and by having a good time on the bike you will support the bicycle projects of Cycling out of Poverty Foundation Uganda (CooP-Uganda). For the past years, we’ve been trying to give the best experience in the Jinja Mountainbike Race & Ride competition and it has grown to Jinja's favorite cycling sport event.
All the proceeds of the event will go to supporting students to improve access to education with bicycles through the #Bike4School programme.
