Remember, in addition to the support needed at school and for events, several tasks can be done from home (i.e. database/administrative support, text messages/phone calls, emails, graphic design for programs flyers, technology support, and much more).

F.B.I. (Fellas Being Involved) - Male volunteers needed to help with Friday morning carpool.

Additional Volunteer Needs

Bulletin Board - Help with monthly layout of information for the main bulletin board near the Media Center and Front office.

Community Outreach Drives - Help with bin setup, and item collection and work with getting items to the correct organization.

Diversity and Inclusion - Help the committee chair with coordinating activities (i.e. cougar cookbook, international storytime, international celebration, kindness week, and more)

Environmental Education/Earth Day - Help the committee chair with Earth day related activities.

Events & Festival Support - Help with setup and promotions for PTA family events and major festivals.

Foundation Fridays - Help with distribution of promotional flyers to the classrooms and with collection of money.

General - Help with coping, sorting and distributing PTA and Foundation flyers to the classrooms

Honoring Our Heroes - Help the committee chair with information distribution, essay collection, judging and reception duties.

Hospitality - Help coordinate food-related needs associated with student celebrations/activities.

Reflections - Help the committee chair with information distribution, submission collection and reception.

Spirit Night - Help with spirit night activities and events scheduled throughout the year

STEM Expose - Help the committee chair with day of related activities.

Take Home Project Opportunities (Off-site Support)

Cat Tracks - Help with content management, design and format of the monthly PTA newsletter.

Diversity and Inclusion - Help with props and pre-planning for the International Celebration

Hospitality - Help committee chairs with planning themes for food-related displays of appreciation for teachers, staff and families.

Legislation and Advocacy - Help the PTA stay up-to-date on the latest topics affecting Kincaid students and families by attending Cobb County School Board meetings, and others as needed.

MemberHub Support - Help with data entry/admin duties associated with maintaining Kincaid PTA's requirements for GA and National PTA membership

Parliamentarian/ECCC Rep - Help by serving as Parliamentarian for the PTA Board of Directors; represents Kincaid at East Cobb County Council of PTAs (ECCC) meetings

Website - Help with content management and layout of the Kincaid PTA Website (membershiptoolkit).
