What to expect:
This session will be geared towards beginners with limited exposure to machine learning. We aim to give you a basic understanding of the core concepts and most importantly, give you the tools to start using it in your research. We aim to have the majority of time dedicated to hands on exercises based on the tasks of image classification, segmentation, image to image transforms, and reconstruction.
How to prepare
One potential way to increase your value is to understand the basics of Python coding. This is not required but almost all machine learning code uses Python and will help with future applications. Some potential resources:
