The tradition continues and the Wainright Museum will once again be hosting the Gingerbread House Exhibition for 2022 sponsored by Four Boys Ice Cream! Register here by 11/25 to reserve a spot for your entry! The exhibit will kick off on 12/2 after Farmingdale’s Tree Lighting Celebration! This is a wonderful opportunity to share your talents and bring holiday spirit to our wonderful small town! *
ENTRY: Must be dropped off at the Museum on 12/1 between 7PM-8PM and picked up on 12/5 by 4:00PM. Any gingerbread houses not picked up by 4:00PM on 12/5 will be discarded.
Display must be on a firm foundation that is strong enough to support the structure such as form board or piece of wood.
SIZE: The base shall not exceed 15 x 15 inches. For example, this includes the house and the surrounding yard.
CONTENT: All decorations/ embellishments used must be edible for example cookies, candy, gum, pretzels, frosting, and gingerbread. Items used must be non-perishable. The structure does not have to be an actual house. Use your imagination! You may use a store bought kit.
