2023 OSTI Virtual Conference                     Call for Papers: "Words Around the World"
Thank you for your interest in presenting at "Words Around the World," the 10th Annual Conference hosted by the Oregon Society of Translators and Interpreters. The conference will be held virtually on September 29, 30, and October 1, 2023, in celebration of International Translation Day. This is a "live" Zoom conference and sessions will not be recorded. On the first day of the conference, our goal is to reach participants on every continent during a 24-hour period. To that end, we need your help this year!

OSTI is looking for conference session proposals of interest to medical, legal, educational, and community interpreters, as well as "papers" on literary or general translation. Proposals for training or workshops on equity, social justice, or broader linguistic themes are also welcome!

The Papers Committee is also seeking a few language-specific presentation proposals by translators or interpreters working from any language into (or out of) English.

We appreciate you taking the time to complete this form by May 5, 2023.

Your form entry may be saved for submission at a later time. Contact conference@ostiweb.org if you have questions.

We look forward to seeing you at the conference in September at #WordsAroundtheWorld!
