Dyscalculia: Brain Science, Characteristics, & Strategies that Work
This presentation will explore the brain science behind dyscalculia. We will talk about attributes of students that have dyscalculia, and will discuss the multi-modal techniques that work best for these students. Participants will be given basic screeners that can help teachers to identify areas of student weakness, and participants will be empowered with instructional practices that can meet the needs of students with specific learning disabilities. 

This training will be held on February 21, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. at the ROE #3 Professional Development Center. Registration will begin at 8:00 a.m. Each participant will receive 3.0 PD hours. The cost to attend this training is $25/person and a light breakfast will be provided.
