ASL IV - American Sign Language Capstone

This class is by invitation only, for students ages 12+ (or adults) who have previously taken Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced ASL (ASL I, ASL II, and ASL III). The majority of class time will be silent to provide a total immersion in ASL. Students will continue to improve their conversational and receptive skills, expand their ASL vocabulary and use of classifiers, and solidify grammar through written visuals, interactions, pictures, stories, and games. Students may repeat ASL IV as many times as they like. Opportunities are also available to help as a teacher's assistant in my other ASL classes. Contact me for more information.

ASL IV will place a heavy emphasis on correct ASL grammar, conversation, discussions, and in-class presentations, including short stories, children's books, and more. We will continue to discuss Deaf culture and the history of American Sign Language. Students will also have the opportunity to attend several ASL socials at the Sanderson Community Center for the Deaf in Taylorsville, as well as other possible locations.

Class will be held September - April, with no class in December.

Tuition:
$350/year or monthly payment of $50.00
* If paying monthly, tuition is due the first week of each month (no tuition is due in December)
NOTE:  My classes have been approved for My Tech High reimbursement. I'm also an authorized 3rd party vendor for Harmony Ed.

Registration:
A $25.00 registration fee per student is required to hold your student's spot in the class.
Payment can be sent via Venmo (@Misti-Mitchell-3), PayPal (paypal.me/MistiMitchell13), check, or cash in an envelope with your student's name on it.
