March 20, 2020 - Professional Day for grades PK - 12
On Friday, March 20, 2020, the Holliston Public Schools will have a Professional Day (No school for all grades).  Extended Day will be open as long as we meet our minimum enrollment.

Here is what you need to know:
       Extended Day is open from 7:00 - 6:00
       You must bring your lunch
       You must sign-up even if it is your regular day!
       You must bring lunch.
       Each Program will meet at its regular site
       Don't forget your lunch
       Did I mention that you must bring your lunch?

Special plans:
YKO: Fun on-site activities
OKO: Field Trip to Roller Kingdom (Activity Fee of $15.00 will be charged to your account.  Pizza lunch included)
YMD: If sign-up is sufficient YMD will have a field trip to Urban Air or Dave and Busters.  

COST: If your child is regularly scheduled to attend for more than 2 hours (scheduled for K1, K2, or PM); on the no-school day, there is no additional charge for the day.  If your child is not regularly scheduled to attend or is scheduled to attend only in the AM program or the 1hr slot; you will be billed $75.00 if it is not your regular day and $55.00 if you regularly attend only for the morning or 1hr slot.

DEADLINE: March 6th at 6 PM.  This is very important as we need to schedule staff hours.

SPECIAL ACTIVITY: If you are sign-up, you will be notified of any special activities or trips that might be planned.

AND MOST IMPORTANT: In order to have your child attend on ANY no school day or Early Release Day You MUST DO THE FOLLOWING:
    ~ Return your response sheet before the indicated deadline.  You must return a response sheet even if it is your child's regular day!  
    ~ Make sure you have indicated a response on ALL the days listed. If you leave a day blank, it will be assumed that your child will not be attending.
    ~ Applicable surcharges (by check payable to "Holliston Extended Day") should be put in the tuition payment box at your site.  Surcharges apply if it is not your child’s regular day ($75.00) or if your child is scheduled for the morning program or one-hour program only ($55.00).

NOTE: If your response sheet is not returned on time, your child will be placed on a waitlist.  If your wait-listed child gets in for the day, you will be assessed a $15.00 surcharge (in addition to any applicable charges above).  NEW: If you do NOT return a response sheet and show-up for the day, you will be assessed a $25.00 surcharge. DON'T BE LATE!

MEDICATION
Medication Policy If your child will need to receive medication while he/she is at Extended Day, you MUST indicate this on this form.  You MUST fill in this information whether or not your child is going on a field trip.  This information is necessary because the law requires that we get all medications approved by the school nurse and that we hire a nurse to administer them when we are on site.   We will attempt to arrange for a nurse to come by the program to administer any necessary medication.  If, however, there are not enough children requiring medication to warrant hiring a nurse, or if there is no nurse available to perform this service; you will need to arrange for someone to come to Extended Day and administer your child's medication.
